Trips & Visits
At Shefford Lower, trips and visits are an important part of our curriculum and are carefully planned to be purposeful and enriching for our children. Our trips and visits provide valuable opportunities for pupils to build life skills, broaden their experiences, and deepen their understanding of what they learn in the classroom.
Throughout the year, pupils take part in a wide range of experiences, including local walks within the community, educational visits, and workshops led by external providers. We also regularly attend external sports festivals, giving pupils the opportunity to represent the school, work as a team, and develop their confidence through participation in competition.
These experiences help bring learning to life while supporting the development of independence, curiosity, and confidence. They play a key role in strengthening our curriculum and ensuring that learning is meaningful, memorable, and connected to the wider world.
